Partner and CEO
+18 years of experience in the mining sector, including project development, M&A, and general management positions. Led projects and transactions as Brazilian executive of a natural resources Canadian merchant bank. Was the Country Manager of the Volta Grande Gold deposit (+7Moz Au project) from 2014 to 2017. Also worked at Vale, Arcelor Mittal and Azevedo Sette. Bachelor in Business Administration and Law (admitted at Brazilian Bar). Has an MBA from University of Toronto (class of 2016).
THIAGO BASTOS BONÁS
Partner and VP Technical Services
+24 years of work experience in mineral exploration and resource evaluation for phosphate, base metals, gold and Iron ore. Resource Geologist for Aguia Resources in Brazil and Troilus Gold in Canada. Also worked for subsidiaries of F&M Group, SRK Consulting and Gemcom Software evaluating diverse ore deposits and implemented multiple QAQC programs under CIM (NI 43-101) and JORC standards throughout South America and Europe. Experience as a mine geologist working for BUNGE Fertilizer and experience in mineral resource audit. Bachelor degree in Geology from São Paulo University (USP) and master’s degree in Mineral Resources (Apply Geostatistics) from the same institution. Member of the CBRR - Brazilian Commission for Resources and Reserves.
DANIEL CORREA
Director, Environment and Social
Bachelor's and Master's in Geography and Environmental Analysis from UFMG (2004, 2006), has worked for 18 years in socio-environmental studies and environmental licensing in Brazil, notably for mining, and has experience in energy and infrastructure. At Golder Associates and WSP, he performed several services in socio-environmental studies and impact assessment, in the elaboration and execution of programs, in due diligence, mine closure, among others. Daniel led projects for Anglo American, AngloGold, Arena MRV, Fomento, Gerdau, InterCement, Kinross, MRN, MRV, Rio Energy, TAMISA, Usiminas, Votorantim, Vale and others. Between 2011 and 2024 he was the Area Leader in the Environmental Studies Group at WSP.
RICARDO LOPES
VP Exploration
+30 years of experience in regional and detailed exploration projects. Recently as Site Manager (added 5Moz Au in the Volta Grande Deposits and Salobro Deposit Zn/Pb reassessment), Technical Manager for International Nickel Ventures in Brazil and Country Manager for Blackstone Ventures in Sweden. Prior to that as Chief Project Geologist for Falconbridge/Xstrata (Araguaia Ni laterite discovery) in Brazil. Also, part of the Unamgen team that review and tested low grade Aurizona Gold Project which is currently in production. BS Geology from Brasília University and MBA Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
EDUARDO CARDOSO
Partner and CFO
+19 years of experience in mining, focused on accounting, finance and economics. FP&A at several mining companies, cost controller of a +USD220M project at Mineração Morro do Ipê (Trafigura and Mubadala Fund JV). Also worked for Vale, Anglo American, SNC Lavalin and other mining companies. Experience in business valuation for M&A and funding purposes, business and operational feasibility studies, CAPEX estimation and accounting performance reports. Bachelor degree in Business Administration UFMG and Post-graduated in Management with major in Finance at FDC - Fundação Don Cabral.
ALEXANDRE PIMENTA
Director, Engineering
Alexandre is a mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UFMG, an MSc in Business Administration from PUC/MG, and a business specialization from Fundação Dom Cabral. Experienced in project management, studies and implementation, and in industrial maintenance management, he was an Engineering Manager at Gerdau, a Construction Manager at Mineração Morro do Ipê (MMI), a CAPEX Manager at Alcoa and worked at Samarco with industrial maintenance.
BRUNA A MARTINS CRUZ
Associate, Finance
+11 years of work experience in finance, accounting, treasury, administrative, and tax operations. Worked with FP&A for BRZ Imports and Broderie. Also worked for Oi Telecon controlling operational costs. Graduated in Business Administration at UNA, post-graduated in Controllership and Finance at IBMEC, graduating in Accounting at UNA.

Mais 15 anos de experiência em Exploração Mineral. Atuou no Projeto Potássio do Brasil (Bacia do Amazonas), desde a geração/confirmação de alvos, até o suporte à engenharia conceitual. Experiências complementares: Grafita (Província Grafítica Bahia-Minas – New Mining); Empresas subsidiárias do Grupo F&M; Leme Engenharia (GDF SUEZ GROUP), Geólogo Geotécnico – (Projeto Usina Hidrelétrica de Jirau, Rondônia); Base Metals (Ni-Cu-Co-Complexo-Máfico-Ultramáfico-Mangabal, Goiás / Las Aguilas Project Argentina); Ferro (Quadrilátero Ferrífero – Vale S.A.). +17 years of experience as administrative assistant and executive secretary. Worked in auditing firms, in the Bank of Development of Minas Gerais, medical clinics and management companies. Graduated in Executive Secretariat.
IAN PRITCHARD
Senior Advisor
+30 years of experience in project and operations management in the mining industry both in North America as well as internationally, including, in particular, Brazil. Mr. Pritchard's mining experience includes the management of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, engineering, procurement and construction management projects. He has held senior executive positions at various organizations worldwide including SNC-Lavalin and De Beers Canada.
JOE MILBOURNE
Senior Advisor
Mr. Milbourne is a metallurgist with over 30 years of experience in Central and South America. He has a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a MS in Metallurgy from the University of Utah. He was the former Vice President Operations and Technical Services of Sulliden Gold Corporation, as well as former Technical Director AMEC Mining and Metals where he oversaw process engineering; Mr. Milbourne has international experience with BHP, Eldorado and Cominco. Mr. Milbourne is a fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a registered member of SME.
